Lobeco Art Of Spain
handcrafted shoe shine brush holder & original brush. The rustic design features a lightweight wooden "shoe" (my woodworker son thinks possibly spruce, pine, or even balsam?) textured with notches and stained very dark brown, with a piece of rope at the top for hanging. The brush -- which is also lightweight wood with some kind of animal hair bristles, likely horsehair, and a screw at the top for hanging -- slides into a carved hole in the shoe. There are leather accents with brass tacks on the brush and the brush holder. The original sticker on the bottom reads "Handcrafted in Spain/ Lobeco/ Art of Spain." Dimensions are
10" long (11" with brush in place), 3-1/2" wide, & and 3-1/2 deep. Condition is good with a few chips, including one on the tip of the shoe. See pictures.
